  • Why should I lease a car?

    Leasing means you can drive a car, plus you enjoy fixed price motoring as costs won't change during the period of the lease.
    You also don't need to worry about depreciation or selling the car in the future.

  • When does my lease begin?

    Your lease will be activated upon delivery of the lease vehicle(s) or upon delivery of the agreed temporary replacement vehicle(s).

  • What are the requirements needed to qualify?

    You must be over the age of 23 and have a valid driving license.
    If you are applying for a lease for your business, then you will need to have at least one CY-based director or proprietor.

  • How long are the leases?

    The length of a lease varies to suit your needs and ranges from 1 to 5 years.

  • Can other people drive my vehicle?

    Other people can drive your vehicle as long as they are properly insured on that specific vehicle and comply with the insurance policy criteria; this criteria may vary depending on the vehicle. Insurance will be issued by ASTRA Leasing upon drafting the lease contract.

  • What type of insurance does my vehicle have?

    Lease contracts usually include third party insurance plus a cover for the damages for the leased vehicle – subject to an excess. For more information on insurance options please contact us at leasing@astragroup.com.cy.com.cy or on +35722558201.

  • What is “excess” and what applies to me?

    The term ‘’excess’ refers to the amount you are responsible for paying after the insurance has covered the damage on your vehicle. The excess amount differs and varies from vehicle to vehicle and it is clearly defined in the lease contract and insurance contract.

  • Is there warranty on a leased vehicle?

    All vehicles come with a full CY manufacturer's warranty.

  • Is road tax and MOT included?

    Yes we include road tax and MOT in all our lease contracts.

  • What are my responsibilities for Service and Maintenance?

    Included in your lease is oil change, tyre change, MOT, annual service and any other type of maintenance that is deemed necessary.

    As a driver you need to report your mileage, report any problems with the vehicle, report any alerts that might occur during operation and contact once a year AstraLeasing to arrange service.

  • Are maintenance costs included?

    A maintenance contract is included and covers all routine servicing and repairs due to wear and tear.

  • What happens in case of a breakdown?
